The Himalayas need no introduction. They are one of the most magnificent mountain ranges of the world. Nowhere else will you find a mountain chain that has a peak above 8000 metres, but in the Himalayan range there are fourteen such peaks. One such peak is the K2 Mountain peak rising to a height of 8,611m. The range of mountains spread over 2,700-kms. The Himalayan mountains are also a source of numerous rivers like the Ganges, Yamuna, Brahmaputra and Sindhu.

The Himalayas is a beauty that should be explored and experienced. There are a number of attractions that can be explored in the Himalayan region like the National Parks & Sanctuaries, Himalayan Hill Stations, Adventure in Himalayas and so on so forth. The major adventure activities that you can indulge in while exploring the Himalayas include Trekking in Himalaya, River Rafting, Mountaineering, Snow Skiing, Camping in Himalayas, Jeep Safari and Hang Gliding. The famous Wildlife parks in the Himalayan region include Corbett National Park, Great Himalayan National Park, Namdapha National Park, The Royal Chitwan Park and Royal Bardia National Park.

The Himalayas are also a region that house a number of pilgrimage destinations like Kailash Mansarovar , Amarnath Yatra,Vaishno Devi tour, Dharamsala and Rishikesh
