Cricket World Cup 2011 Final-Ind vs SL

Finally the dream which every Indian was thinking of came true on Saturday night, when at last team India won the cricket world cup 2011 after 28 years. The entire nation was drenched in the spirit of celebrations that are still on. What a match it was, simply unbelievable. Dhoni, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Virat, the whole team was really unbeatable at the Wankhede Stadium Mumbai, on the world cup night.

Sri Lanka also put up great efforts, and made a score of 274 runs but that day belonged to the team India. After so much wait we finally became the 'World Champions'.

Sri Lanka: 274-6 (50)

India: 277-4 (48.2), MS Dhoni was elected Man of the Match.
