Located in the small town of Chamoli, Garhwal in the beautiful state of Uttaranchal, is one of the most alluring destinations of India. Known as the 'Valley of Flowers' this place is truly a nature's paradise blessed with immense grace and serenity.

Situated at an altitude of 3,600 meters near the Nanda Devi national park, Valley of Flowers is a perfect holiday destination. Every year with the beginning of summers this place blooms with several enchanting colors. There are about 520 species of higher plants that are found here out of which 498 are flowering plants.

While in the valley of flowers you can see flowers like orchids, poppies, primulas, daisies, denthus, turmopsis, dadiculatar, pontitala, geranium, cipro nepolysis, holly, pansy, zinnia, petunia, fox and many more. You can also see animals like tahr, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, common langur, yellow throated Marten, blue sheep, black and brown bears, pika, himalayan snowcock and a wide variety of butterflies.
