Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Another easy win for the strong Indian team against the, not so popular Netherlands. Yesterday's match played at the Feroz Shah Kotla grounds in Delhi, saw a brilliant innings by Yuvraj Singh, who emerged as the match winner. With this win India confirmed its place in the quarter-finals. Chasing a target of 190 runs India lost early 5 wickets. But somehow with the fantastic partnership of Yuvraj and Dhoni managed to register a 5 wicket victory.

Although this win was not well received by many cricketing legends. According to them Indian team has much potential and they can do much better than it.

Final Scorecard:

Netherlands: 189-10 (48.4)

India: 191-5 (36.3), Yuvraj Singh was Man of the Match

Although these days cricket fever is taking its toll on everyone. But along with cricket you can also enjoy other popular attractions when you are in Delhi. This amazing city is dotted with many fantastic destinations that you can see during your visit here. Red Fort, Akshardham Temple, India Gate, Jantar Mantar are some of the most visited places of Delhi.
