Have you ever felt the thrill of watching a tiger roaming in its natural habitat? If the answer is no, then you must immediately plan a tiger tour in India. This tour will surely make your pulses rise high. This entire tour will prove to be an unforgettable experience for you and your family especially your children.
Tigers have always remained a subject of fascination for the travelers and wildlife enthusiasts. They specially visit the country to watch this amazing beast. They are also very popular among the national and international wildlife photographers. But for the past few years we have seen a drastic decline in the tiger sightings. Unauthorized poaching, brutal hunting of the tigers for their fur, expansion of the concrete jungle in their home and the depleting natural resources are some of the main factors for this decline. Therefore in the year1972 a movement called Project Tiger was started by the Government of India. The main purpose of it was the conservation of the tigers from the poachers and to increase their population.
With the passage of time and the decreasing number of tigers Government initiated a new project with the name of Save the Tigers. More and more people along with famous celebrities are associated with this operation to make us aware about the extinction of this species. According to a government survey only 1,411 tigers are left in this country and it is our duty to protect them, as they are also an important part of our world.
